PHYSICAL KNOWLEDGE IN CONTINUITY ACTIVITIES BETWEEN 4-TH AND 5-TH GRADE in primary school „BACHO KIRO“, VELIKO TURNOVO Ruska Draganova-Hristova - teacher in the subjects of the natural sciences The activities of continuity between IV and V grade started with open lessons on the subject ”The man and Nature”. All fourth-graders from “Bacho Kiro” Primary School - V. Tarnovo were included. The lessons were taught by Ms. Ruska Hristova, who teaches science subjects, in collaboration with the teachers in the IV grade classes. The series of lessons were on the theme: "Light and vision", which is represented in the thematic distribution of IV grade. Various, innovative and interactive methods were used. At the beginning of the class, students played a wordgame and recreated the obstacle course technique, which introduced the topic of the lesson. During the class, students worked with online platforms (LearningApps, Kahoot!). They performed a series of physical experiments related to the propagation of light and more. Ms. Hristova's author's methodology was applied to summarize the lessons learned and give feedback on the studied events, resulting in the students discovering curious facts about their vision and creating a poster with them. Fourth-grade class leaders assisted in the completion on the class assignments. In two of the classes, teaching assistants were seventh-grade students from the interest group "Chemistry and Physics - Easy and Interesting".
